Tetrahydropiperine (Tetrahydropiperine)

Tetrahydropiperine is an alkaloid from the fruit of the black pepper bush. It acts as a natural penetration enhancer and thus increases the bioavailability of other ingredients. This is why it is often used as a so-called active enhancer or bioenhancer. Tetrahydropiperine also has skin-caring and anti-microbial properties. It also acts as an agonist at the TRPV1 receptor, which is also stimulated by capsaicin, among other things. This signaling pathway has been shown in a scientific study to promote hair growth.
