My team and I work together to develop innovative active ingredient cosmetics based on selected natural ingredients. As part of our research, we combine the findings of years of experience with the traditional knowledge of nature and its active ingredients. This synthesis of scientifically proven evidence and highly efficient mechanisms of action forms the basis of our products, which provide lasting enthusiasm and clear results.

Keeping tradition alive: Preserving the valuable, discovering the new

The Hermans family looks back on several generations of medical professions: both my father and my grandfather worked as medical specialists and clinic directors. This tradition of medical practice was founded by my grandfather; in his honor I have named him – Dr. Hermans – chosen as the basis for our company logo.

Unlocking the richness of nature with science

Growing up in the heart of the German rural region Eifel, I was already able to experience the natural wealth of the forests, meadows and mountains of my home region as a child. Fascinated by the diversity of the plant world, I read various books on monastic healing, phytotherapy and naturopathy in my youth. I grew marigold, also known as calendula, and numerous other medicinal plants in our garden to manufacture my first creams.

As the current Managing Director, I find it very fulfilling to carry on this tradition and the values and experience associated with it, to research the healing powers of nature and to develop highly effective products together with my team.
